One-time National Football League player Antonio Brown is returning to Miami to face an attempted murder accusation connected with a shooting that took place in May, as his lawyer filing a not guilty plea on his behalf.

Jail logs in Essex County, New Jersey, reveal that Brown was discharged on Tuesday early for his move to the state of Florida. Brown, among the most famous athletes in the NFL, had forgone transfer to Florida from New Jersey, in which he was detained after being taken into custody in Dubai.

Brown’s lawyer, Mark Eiglarsh, mentioned in an message that he has already lodged a formal innocent response to the murder attempt accusation. Brown could be in a Miami hearing as soon as Wednesday early for a bond proceeding, Eiglarsh added.

Eiglarsh asserted that Brown was simply protecting himself from Nantambu.
